Former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865) defined democracy as: "Government of the people, by the people and for the people" and this is exactly what is seen in every move made by Barr. Olubiyi Otegbeye-BOT, APC Candidate for Fed. House of Reps(Yewa South/Ipokia Fed. Constituency) as Barr. Otegbeye-BOT placed his ambition in the hands of the electorates as BOT inaugurated polling boot canvassers in Ipokia Local Govt on January 17th, 2019.
THE PEOPLE OF IPOKIA LOCAL GOVERNMENT

OTEGBEYE-BOT had long ago declared that just like in the private sector where he is coming from with over 32years of work experience, nothing could be made possible in politics without people, therefore,  sworn that no part of his political activities or agenda will leave people behind and this promise shall always be exhibited in all his moves before and after clinching the power.

In line with this, Barr. OTEGBEYE-BOT has again thrown himself into the political ring of the surviver of the fittest for the job of Fed. House of Reps, Yewa South/Ipokia Constituency, by firstly appointing and inaugurating polling boot canvassers in Ipokia local government following his total commitment to a government that is described as "Government of the people, buy the people and for the people", according to Abraham Lincoln.

This exercise took place across all the three zones in Ipokia local government area which are:

Zone A: Ipoakia 1, Ipokia 2, Main 1 and Maun.

Zone B: Agosasa, Tube, Agada and Ijofin ward.

Zone C: Idiroko, Ajegunle, Ihunbo, Ilase and Ifoyintedo.


Without going by the words of mouth, the great people of Ipokia local government area expressed total love to Barr. OTEGBEYE-BOT through their punctuality, unreserved calmness an corporation during the meeting and their choices of outfits as mark of honour and love for their own man, BOT.

Meanwhile, all the chosen canvassers who were carefully and independently selected by the party leaders within the local government and presented to BOT also expressed their appreciation for the privilege being given to them to serve BOT/APC in this capacity and promised to deliver on their assignments.


Unanimously, the great people of Ipokia appreciated BOT for his regular gesture before the political season drops in and assured him of payback in all honesty.
