2019 GENERAL ELECTIONS: SDP EXCOs MEET BOT, FORMALISE DEFECTION INTO APC

BOT STANDING WITH DEFECTORS FROM THE SDP

General opinion has it that prior election events as related to the coming in and going out of political parties by the politicians who possess skill to see beyond the present remains one of the yardsticks to determine what party will drive into the victory at the pole.


In light of this, the Ogun State Social Democratic Party(SDP) State Secretary, Mr Olufemi Abel Falolu, has on Wednesday 22nd, 2019 led some other excos and among party gladiators in SDP within Yewa South/Ipokia constituency to Barr. Olubiyi Otegbeye-BOT to formalise their defection into All Progressives Congress, APC.



It will be recalled that Barr. Olubiyi Otegbeye-BOT received some members of ACCORD party into The All Progressives Congress(APC) on 15th January, 2019 as led by Mrs Ajibode Rebecca whom was given the nickname 'IRON LADY' by BOT on defection.



Meanwhile, the leader of the SDP defectors, Mr Olufemi, applauded Barr. Otegbeye for his regular contributions into the lives of his people which is mostly done behind the camera.

He expressed that their readiness(the defectors) to work as agents of good governance towards taking our land to the NEXT LEVEL is the reason behind their action having seen the needed leadership qualities in Barr. Otegbeye going by his previous activities in the town.

The APC House of Reps candidate for Yewa South/Ipokia fed. Constituency, of course, the most prominent candidate in the field, Barr. Olubiyi Otegbeye-BOT gave kudos to the team for taking the right step joining APC out of their good intention to bring progress into the lives of our people.

Otegbeye assured the defectors of a better moment now that they have joined APC and charged them to return to their various units and begin a serious campaign for the party so that victory could be achieved.
