WHAT IS REALLY THE INTEREST OF THE YEWA PEOPLE?
WHAT IS REALLY THE INTEREST OF THE YEWA PEOPLE?

It is good to take note of many areas any government mighty have failed as we must not turn a blind eye and this will always be an evidence that we are always alive.
Most importantly, the great people of YEWA being the most aggrieved set of people will have a lot of bitter stories to tell as it is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf that the infrastructural development within the land is not forthcoming.
It is acceptable and very understandable that if this current administration will be condemned by any set of people, the great people of YEWA will be in the best position. Yes, very understandable!
Without thinking of what YEWA people may likely have from the government of the day in terms of infrastructural development which is largely a future thing, one can suggest that YEWA people should accept the reality that this is where we have found ourselves and while it is also advisable that we take into consideration our future from this very moment.
If you wouldn't mind thinking along with me, let me tell you that if this government will be criticized and fought by the people of YEWA, Egba and Ijebu, the only mistake YEWA people can make is to fight this government exactly the way the people of Egba and Ijebu will fight it. Did you just ask me why? Fine, let me explain to you!
If YEWA people must join efforts with the people of Ijebu and probably with some sections in Egba, the people of YEWA must be very careful and also learn to ask themselves what really they want to fight for and what really the Egba and Ijebu people are fighting for and from this, it will become so clear to us that YEWA will have no reason to fight the battle the same way. Still not clear? This is what I mean!
When the people of Ijebu should continue to fight this government, common sense will tell us that they are seeking additional development and opportunity to take the power again. Also, we must not forget that any agitation raised by the people of Egba against this government will only have connection to there interest at seeking further and additional development no matter the number of the development available in their land already. In the case of Yewaland, can the people of YEWA claim to be fighting for additional development or move to take over power again? Obviously not!
Therefore, it is better for the people of YEWA not to join any war which may be designed to be fought in the same way with the people of Egba and Ijebu against this government, rather, the people of Yewa should independently fashion out a more distinctive and constructive way of showing to this government their grievances so that the other people from other zones of the state will not use Yewa people to gain their own additional development and later dump them.
Even our fathers have made some expensive mistakes in the past and which we are still suffering from up till now and because of this, I, Adetunji ADEDEJI, have decided not to always treat some important situations according to the dictates of my interest any more.
Kudos to the YEWA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL, all the Royal fathers in Yewaland and particularly the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount ruler of Yewaland, kabiesi o!!!. During the last general election that produced this very government, the duo of President M. Buhari and his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo paid visits to all the traditional councils in Ogun state. Although, they were received by all these traditional councils but in different ways. How?
Only in Egba and Ijebu we saw where all the Obas submitted *horse tails* on the duo of President M. Buhari and his running mate as they rendered prayers for their success.
However, the case was totally different in Yewa Traditional Council. Apart from the fact that almost only the Paramount ruler of Yewaland rendered some words of prayer as preplanned by all the Obas, it is also dramatic to see that no single Oba placed horse tail on both President M. Buhari and Prof. Osinbajo despite that Osinbajo's mother is from Ilaro.
Please, don't get me wrong! The Royal father in Yewaland under the leadership of Oba Kehinde Olugbenle have not only done this for their interest but for the interest of the land as Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka had already clinched the governorship ticket of PDP and our royal fathers decided not to honour a party that did not favour Yewaland, hence the reason for their failure to treat both President M. Buhari and Prof. Osinbajo the same way they were treated in Egba and Ijebu.
Maybe, it will now be understandable the reason why President Buhari rejected coming to Ilaro in 2016 during the project commissioning tour. Maybe this is the reason why the Paramount ruler of Yewaland was asked to meet the presidency in Ayetoro as the presidency refused to be hosted in the same town where they were not treated well during their campaign even though the decision was not the sole decision of the Olu of Ilaro. Maybe this is the reason why one can not find the name ILARO in the entire project list that went into the federal government budget for the entire Ogun West for the year 2017 even when Ilaro was not against President M. Buhari but only that it is a town that accommodates the traditional council of the area and as a town where the decision of the entire Yewa Obas was seen delivered against the interest of the guest that visited the traditional council. Most importantly, one may now sense that Yewaland may probably be under punishment just for this first tenure and which is very sad.
Hmmmm, as a Yewa man who lives with so many open and secret facts, I will like to advise fellow Yewa man to stop or reduce their attacks on Governor IBIKUNLE Amosun because we can't really say whose instruction Governor Amosun is acting.
However, Governor Amosun acting someone's instruction may not really be the factor but the reality of the matter remains that he is still the governor of Ogun state and he has the power to make Yewaland or to destroy it in the coming 2019 governorship election. If you are of the opinion that Amosun is no longer popular enough to install a Yewa man as the next governor of Ogun state then I will also tell you that Amosun has the power to frustrate the success of that Yewa man to the level that the power will shift to another zone(Ogun 2011 Governorship election as a case study) in a situation where Yewa people may see him as nothing or nobody.
Like every other human being, Governor Amosun can never be a perfect creature and I want to enjoin all the people of Yewaland to stop throwing war against Governor Amosun at this crucial time unless he eventually refuses to give the ticket to a Yewa man as promised; he is still the Governor of Ogun State, no matter the noise.
If Amosun has not developed Yewaland, that cannot erase the fact that he has built and developed other places within the same Ogun State but it is understandable why the people of Yewa will still not be happy because 'ti ara eni ni a n ja ninu esusu'.
Yewa people should stop joining hands with other zones of the state to fight Governor IBIKUNLE Amosun because our predicament is not the same with other zones, therefore, we can't fight the same battle in the same way with them. Also, we must be careful about our actions this time so that we don't make another mistakes that may cost us our fortunes.
Finally, can you show me who is the best Governor in Nigeria today before we begin to condemn Governor Amosun so that we can place their achievements side by side...
Truly, Yewaland is not enjoying rapid development under this government *BUT GOVERNMENT AMOSUN WILL FOREVER REMAIN THE BEST FRIEND TO YEWA PEOPLE IF HE CAN ASSIST TO INSTALL A TRUE YEWA MAN AS THE NEXT GOVERNOR OF OGUN STATE*.
