GOVERNOR AMOSUN SHOULD PLEASE RETURN OUR ARMORED VEHICLE
YEWA LAWA PLEADS WITH GOVERNOR IBIKUNLE AMOSUN TO RETURN ARMORED VEHICLE TO ILARO YEWA
It is no news that Governor Ibikunle Amosun has shown a great passion and competence in the aspect of crime fighting in the state considering the good effort Mr Governor has put in place to secure armored vehicles and which was distributed among the senatorial districts of Ogun state.
It is also believed that the presence of these armored vehicles across the state serves as a great defence as the miscreants now have a reason to think twice before they make their attacks on the people wherever these armored vehicles are sighted.
No doubt, the great people of Ilaro Yewa had benefited from the good gesture of Mr Governor as little or no crime was recorded during the time one of these armored vehicles was around and stationed at Ilaro new garage roundabout until the armored vehicle was withdrawn completely from Ilaro Yewa during the last dispute that was witnessed between the Police and Odaka riders on 1st of June, 2016 following the killing of one of the Okada riders by the police.
Meanwhile, it was reported that a little damage was caused to the armored vehicle by the BOYS during the crises and according to the information gathered by YEWA LAWA, it was learnt that Mr Governor called for the withdrawal of the armored vehicle from Ilaro Yewa due to the damage that was caused to it.
Although, the withdrawal of the armored vehicle by the Mr Governor has generated a mixed feelings even among the people of Ilaro as some insisted that if a damage could be caused to the armored vehicle then it means that the people of the town do not appreciate the good gesture of the Mr Governor while some also insisted that if the said matter had happened in Egba or Ijebu, Mr Governor wouldn't have withdrawn the armored vehicle from the town for this long.
However, YEWA LAWA wishes to plead with the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun for the release of the armored vehicle so that lives and properties can be more protected once again.
Meanwhile, YEWA LAWA also put it up as a challenge to every Yewa stakeholders, particularly the stakeholders who are currently in Governor Amosun's cabinet and government entirely to take this matter upon themselves and ensure quick return of Ilaro Yewa armored vehicle.
Remember, ao mo eni ti o maa kan toba sele o...Ire lo maa kanwa o, amin!
